Samaritan’s Purse-Southern Oregon 2020 Wildfires

The Oregon wildfires, which erupted in Jackson County on September 7, 2020, devastated the community of Medford and it’s surrounding area.  Approximately 3,000 structures were burned, many of them being homes.  Samaritan’s Purse sent a disaster relief team to organize local volunteers and to assist residents attempting to recover personal items from the ashes.  This was all done in the name of sharing Christ’s love for them during an incredibly difficult time in their lives.  This is an overview story of this project.
